Who we are
One community built around surfing
Huli started as a simple idea: build the surf school we'd actually want to learn at. Small groups, honest instruction, and a real feel for the break at Barra da Lagoa.
Runs strategy, admin and everything digital — the site, Instagram, the way people first hear about Huli. Believes a small business should still feel personal from the very first message.
Runs the instructor team and coaches every session from the sand — camera in hand, filming each ride and breaking down technique so every student can see their own progress.

Why Floripa?
Florianópolis is an island of more than 40 beaches, each with its own character — and Barra da Lagoa, our home base, is one of the last that still feels like a real fishing village rather than a resort strip. A narrow channel connects the Lagoa da Conceição to the open Atlantic, giving us both protected water for first lessons and honest, open-ocean surf close by.
- One island, dozens of breaks for every level

- Barra da Lagoa: ~45 minutes from Floripa's centre, without the crowds
- Nearby breaks like Praia Mole, Joaquina and Galheta are worth exploring too — mostly better suited to intermediate surfers, but rideable for beginners on smaller days
